Nagendra Pratap Tomar is a Hindu nationalist and leader of Hindu Yuva Vahini (Hindu Youth Force). Hindu Yuva Vahini. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath founded the Hindu Yuva Vahini.
Tomar’s primary job is to hate Muslims and make communally charged remarks.
In April 2017, Tomar led a group of Hindu nationalists and barged into a house in Meerut’s Shastri Nagar locality in Uttar Pradesh and thrashed a Muslim man who was in an interreligious relationship.
In October 2017, Tomar falsely claimed that India would become an Islamic country by 2027, going by current population growth rates.
“If the Muslim population continued to grow at the same pace, India will become an Islamic country by 2027. It’s a conspiracy of the Muslim community. They want to have total control over India,” he said.
“Muslims bear children not because they want to have them, but because they want to occupy the whole country,” he added.
In January 2018, Tomar delivered a highly provocative speech in Uttar Pradesh’s communally sensitive Muzaffarnagar district asking Hindus for a counter to ‘love jihad’.
”Woh love jehad karte hain…Unke yehan ladkiyan bahut hain….hamare ladke baithen hain” (they indulge in love jehad…they have many girls…our boys are waiting), Tomar said apparently referring to the Muslim community while addressing a meeting.
