Sadhvi Saraswati claims to be a Hindu religious preacher, but in reality, she is a star speaker for Hindu right-wing groups who invite her to deliver proactive speeches against Muslims. She hails from the Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh.
Saraswati is the current president of Sanatan Dharma Prachar Seva Samiti and has a vast social media following.
She studied only till class 3rd and dropped out. Her father was the local convenor of the Bajrang Dal. From a young age, she has been associated with the activities of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
During the “Hindu Rashtra” conclave in Goa in June 2017, Saraswati spewed venom against Muslims and made an open call for violence against beef eaters and “seculars.”
“Whoever harms cow or abuses the country can only be termed as our enemy. Those politicians who are supporting the consumption of beef in the country and those who see it as a status symbol should be publicly executed by the government. Protection of the cow is our duty. We should apply the same laws which are applied for homicide cases against people found butchering cattle,” she said.
“Pehle Hindu ko hi Hindu banana hai (first we need to convert a Hindu to Hindu) — that is our biggest challenge today… They are in the garb of seculars… these seculars are the first who will be attacked,” she added.
The Sadhvi has called Hindus to arm themselves and stone Muslims to “save our women from love jihad.”
“I urge Hindu girls to stay away from Muslims. If anyone approaches, see that you throw stones at them. Hindu girls are allegedly converted after marriage to boost up Muslim population in India. In addition to it, the converted Hindu women are treated as delivery machines and are forced to conceive as many as 10-15 children. The Islam community makes all those women and children fundamentalists,” she alleged.
In April 2018, she gave a provocative speech in Kerala, calling on men to gift swords to their sisters, so they can behead any love jihadi and offer it to Mother India.
