Thakur Shekhar Chauhan
Thakur Shekhar Chauhan is a Hindu militant associated with Karni Sena, a Hindutva group led by BJP’s Haryana spokesperson Suraj Pal Amu.
Chauhan is also a supporter of Hindutva leader Yati Narsinghananad Saraswati who has repeatedly called for the genocide of Muslims in India.
In April 2021, Chauhan, during a press conference, called for violence against Muslims and the killing of the unborn children of Muslim women.
“Suraj Pal Amu, who is the chief of Karni Sena, has sent us here (Dasna Devi temple) because of which we have come here and will leave accordingly. If someone gets even a scratch from the Hindu community, or our Guruji, then we will take the unborn babies from the wombs of women (Muslim) and kill them.”
