Vaibhav Singh, a resident of Banaras, Uttar Pradesh, is the founder and co-founder of two YouTube channels, Defensive Offence (1.75M subscribers) and Do News (148K subscribers), known for espousing Hindu supremacist views and disseminating anti-Muslim propaganda aimed. He is a vocal critic of the liberal-secular identity of the nation.
Singh’s channels frequently feature podcasts and interviews that often mock Muslim culture and lifestyle, justifying their marginalization with disinformation and hate speech. These channels regularly host individuals with anti-Muslim sentiments, including figures like Yati Narsinghanand, who have been known for advocating for the genocide of Muslims in India.
In April 2021, the podcast YouTube channel Dopolitcs, owned by Singh, released a video hosted by Ajeet Bharti, in which he referred to Muslims as pigs and accused them of intruding into Hindu temples to molest Hindu women. The video also endorsed and praised genocidal statements made by Yati Narsinghanand.
During one of his podcasts, Singh unabashedly expressed his support for changing the Indian Constitution to align it with the Hindu supremacist vision of the country. He also claimed that the sites of Gyanvapi Masjid and Mathura Masjid belonged to his father.
In July 2021, Singh shared an X post mocking and threatening Muslim journalist Rana Ayyub, following her expression of concern over the rising Islamophobia in the BJP-ruled state of Uttar Pradesh.
In May 2022, Singh posted a screenshot of prominent Muslim politician Asaduddin Owaisi, comparing him in a derogatory manner to Muslim rulers like Aurangzeb. He further threatened to replicate the destruction of the Babri Mosque in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, against the Gyanvapi Mosque.
In June 2022, Singh posted in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma after she made offensive comments about Prophet Mohammed (pbuh).
He has also accused journalists and social activists like Ravish Kumar and Swara Bhaskar of being anti-Hindu.
